Our Virtual Process During "Shelter In Place"
The Bath Studio is open and ready to talk to you about starting your upcoming remodeling project! Although we have temporarily closed the showroom to walk-in customers, we have implemented telework practices so we can be available to talk or video with you from remote locations.
Initial Consultation
While we normally have our initial consultation in the showroom, we can have a phone and video conversation to discuss the scope of your project and our process. The goal of the initial consultation is to get a better understanding of scope of work so we can provide a "ballpark" budet estimate for your project.
Preliminary Estimate
Normally our next step would be an in-home visit. Instead, we will ask you to provide some photos, a basic floor plan, and rough dimensions so we can develop a detailed estimated product budget and construction proposal. We will schedule a meeting to review these estimates through video since this is a more interactive activity. The goal of this step is to arrive at a budget that you are comfortable with before we move to the design phase.
Preliminary Design
To kickoff preliminary design, we suggest you go to Houzz and create an ideabook of design ideas that you can share with us. Additionally, you can email us photos or links to designs that you like. We will conduct a video meeting where we explore what elements you like from the photos you submitted to hone in on your style preferences. From here, we have two options:

Live video conference to look at possible products from our showroom, effectively creating a virtual showroom

We select samples of materials and deliver them to your home for your review
If you like the materials, we would proceed to product selection. If your project entails reconfiguration of the space, we would discuss some possibilities and development of a new space configuration plan.
Product Selection
Although the showroom is closed to walk-in customers at this time, we are available to meet by appointment to perform actual product selection. Showroom meetings will be kept to a minimum, with our designers working offline to recommend products to go with the core products you select.
All surfaces and high touch items in the showroom are continually sanitized and we will minimize contact between staff and customers during any showroom meeting in order to provide a safe environment for customers and staff.
Review and Finalize Design
Once everything has been selected, we'll put your final product order together and finalize the project drawings, then have a video call or showroom meeting to review everything.
